Canada offers a wide variety of English programs where you can improve your language skills. You can choose how many weeks you want to study, take elective classes, and participate in extracurricular activities with other students. In general, the enrollment process for English programs is one of the fastest.

At ISIN Canada, we can guide you through different options, discounts, and promotions so you can make the most of your experience in Canada.

To begin your application process for an English school, you will need the following documents:

  • Passport
  • Registration Form
  • English Test
  • Initial Payment
  • Letter of Acceptance from the institution
  • Provincial Attestation Letter

You can submit your IELTS or TOEFL results to prove your English level, or you can take an online test. Most English schools offer their own free online placement test. During your application process, we will help you complete all the required information and guide you step by step.

Documents for Co-op Programs

Co-op programs are a popular option for studying in Canada. These programs allow you to study and work part-time during the first months of your program, and then work full-time during your internship period. You can explore different college options to find the right fit for you.

Universities and colleges may request different documents depending on the program, but here are the basic requirements you will typically need:

  • Passport
  • Registration Form
  • English Test: IELTS 5.0 – 6.5
  • Previous Diploma and Transcripts
  • Initial Payment
  • Letter of Acceptance from the institution
  • Provincial Attestation Letter

The required English level will depend on the program you choose. If you don’t meet the requirement yet, you can start with an English program and later transition into your Co-op program—sometimes even within the same school!

Higher Education

If you plan to study a diploma, bachelor’s, or even a master’s degree, there are many options available in Canada. These programs usually have a longer list of requirements, which may vary depending on your field of study. The time it takes to receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for some programs can also be longer, so it’s important to keep their admission dates in mind.

Some of the most common documents required for higher education are:

  • Passport
  • Registration Form
  • English Test: IELTS 6.5 or higher
  • Math Results
  • Previous Diploma and Transcripts
  • CV and/or Motivation Letter
  • Initial Payment
  • Letter of Acceptance from the institution
  • Provincial Attestation Letter

If you don’t yet meet the required English level, we can help you find the right pathway for your goals. We can also guide you through the variety of programs, schools, and universities across different provinces. Once you decide on your program, it’s important to verify the type of visa needed to travel to Canada and prepare the necessary documents for that process.
